MYSPACE SECRET SHOWS PRESENTS THE OFFSPRING IN AN INTIMATE SHOW IN ORANGE COUNTY, CA AUGUST 3
MySpace Secret Shows is proud to announce that one of rock’s most exciting and enduring bands, The Offspring (www.myspace.com/offspring and www.offspring.com), will make a rare club show appearance in their SoCal homeland on Sunday, August 3 when they play Chain Reaction, a small all ages club in Anaheim, CA. This is the first time in almost three years that the band has headlined a show in its native Orange County. The Secret Show is a free, exclusive performance for the MySpace community.
The Offspring are currently touring in support of their new album Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace featuring the singles “Hammerhead” and “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid.” The album, produced by the legendary Bob Rock, is a broad reaching effort forging new territory while staying true to the band’s vision – every song on the album delivers.
That’s quite the accomplishment for a band that has performed over 1000 shows and has sold more than 35 million albums worldwide, including their 1994 release “Smash,” which more than a decade after its release remains the highest-selling album of all time on an independent label.
MySpace Music has organized more than 150 Secret Shows since the franchise launched in February 2006 with artists like Gnarls Barkley, Neil Diamond, Slayer, Franz Ferdinand, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs performing in cities around the world. For more information about the artists and upcoming schedule, visit the official MySpace Secret Shows profile at http://myspace.com/secretshows.
