MONOLITH: RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATRE ON SEPT 13 AND 14, 2008

MONOLITH FESTIVAL presented by Esurance, happening at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 13th and 14th, today announces 18 additional artists added to the 2008 festival and VIP events. While acts like Cloud Cult, White Williams, The Dutchess & the Duke, Passion Pit and Young Coyotes will play only at the VIP events; Snowden, Dressy Bessy, KaiserCartel, Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, The Veils, The Muslims, Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons, Electric Touch, Moonspeed, Astra Moveo, Rob Drabkin and Alyse Black have been recently added to the festival’s main line-up. The additional acts round out MONOLITH’s hand-picked lineup of indie favorites and blog darlings, which for 2008 includes Denver’s own Devotchka and French electronic duo Justice as headliners. Joining the 2008 headliners is a deep and diverse roster including Silversun Pickups, Atmosphere, Band of Horses, Vampire Weekend, TV on the Radio, The Avett Brothers, Superdrag, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Mickey Avalon, The Kills, CSS, Does it Offend You, Yeah?, Del the Funky Homosapien and many, many more.
