A full scale British tour in November will be announced shortly along with club dates in Ireland and Turkey.
Having spent the last three months playing massive European festivals such as Glastonbury, Roskilde and Electric Picnic the band is now the subject of intense Grammy® buzz which started overseas while on the road.
“It was shocking to me just how many journalists and fans came up to the band while we were on tour this summer in Europe and the States who asked us if we thought we would be nominated for a Grammy for Venus On Earth,” said bassist Senon Williams. “We played more than thirty dates in countries like Denmark, Sweden, England, the Czech Republic as well as others and that seemed to be all anybody really wanted to know. Who knows what could happen? Dengue Fever would welcome a Grammy nomination – that’s for sure!”
Earlier this summer, Peter Gabriel’s Real World Records in England licensed Dengue Fever’s Venus On Earth for all territories outside the US and Canada.
