After handily impressing critics with her debut album, In Advance of the Broken Arm, Marnie Stern gets back in the van this fall in support of her upcoming October ‘08 Kill Rock Stars release, This Is It And I Am It And You Are It And So Is That And He Is It And She Is It And It Is It And That Is That. The album finds Marnie tempering her dizzying guitar acrobatics with pop elements in what promises to be another impressive and inviting project. Opening dates for Gang Gang Dance, you can expect Marnie to deliver her contagious excitement, uniquely friendly thrash, and maybe a Rodney Dangerfield impression if you’re lucky.
