LIVING THINGS SELECTED AS MICROSOFT’S ZUNE IGNITION ARTIST OF THE MONTH
Sophomore Effort “Habeas Corpus” In-Stores February 17th
New York, NY- Jive Records recording artist, Living Things, are named Microsoft’s Zune Ignition artist of the month. As part of the Ignition program, Living Things will be releasing a series of special features exclusive to Zune Marketplace, Zune.net, MSN entertainment properties and the Xbox LIVE® Marketplace surrounding the release of their latest album Habeas Corpus, available in stores February 17. These special features include a Guestlist featuring an eclectic mix of songs curated by the band, a track-by-track editorial commentary of their latest album, and finally an exclusive download of the track “Hellfire Waltz,” available for one week beginning February 24. Living Things are also featuring a behind-the-scenes video entitled “Musings on Habeas Corpus” on the Xbox Live and through MSN Music.
Habeas Corpus is the second effort from the band and the video for the lead single, “Let It Rain,” was directed by Floria Sigismondi (David Bowie, Bjork, White Stripes). Habeas Corpus was produced by Michael Ilbert and Living Things, and was recorded in Berlin, Germany at the legendary Hansa Studios.
Living Things are lead singer/lyricist/guitarist, Lillian, his brothers Eve and Bosh Berlin on bass and drums respectively, and guitarist Cory Becker, a longtime friend from their hometown, St. Louis, Mo. Currently Living Things are on a month long tour with Eagles of Death Metal.
