My name is Ryan Beachum and I am writing you because I know your blog is respected in the entertainment industry. My company, Industree Music Network, is nearing the official launch of our new music-distribution platform called Social Music Sharing and I was wondering if you might be willing to share a little of your valuable wisdom and insight.
As you well know, the major record labels have been dying for over a decade because they have been way too slow to adapt to the changes brought on by mp3 file sharing. I’m sure you also know, there are a lot of people out there scratching there heads and wondering what concept will replace this old, antiquated model that everyone has been subjected to for so many years. Of course, we see articles on this subject almost everyday. We truly believe that we have developed a business model to fill at least a part of the large void left and that this has the potential to revolutionize the music industry.
In a nutshell, Social Music Sharing combines social networking, music and the ability for the fans to share in the album profits that they help artists to generate. SMS also employs an inventive, referral-based compensation platform that allows the fans to earn a percentage of the sales that they directly and indirectly help to generate.
We are currently beta testing our site (www.TheIndustree.com) and making a few minor changes before we start any major marketing. I am writing you to see if you might be willing to explore the site a bit and to give us a little of your very valuable feedback. If so, please let me know and I will be more than happy to provide you with anything that you might need from me. Regardless of your decision, I wish you the very best in the New Year.
