AWARD NOMINATION, SUNDANCE SHOW AND COVER OF RISEN MAGAZINE; SINGER MOLLY JENSON CONTINUES TO MAKE WAVES
DEBUT ALBUM MAYBE TOMORROW IS RELEASED TODAY
The California singer’s first album features 13 songs of beautiful, mellow pop – produced by Greg Laswell and includes a duet with Switchfoot’s Jon Foreman.
Award-winning singer/songwriter Molly Jenson’s much-anticipated debut CD “Maybe Tomorrow” is released TODAY March 3rd, during a flurry of activity surrounding the release of her CD including being nominated for best pop artist by the Orange County Music Awards, having her song used in a major ad campaign for the clothing line Stitches, a stop at the Sundance Film Festival where she played before a sold out crowd and having her album tagged by the online rock publication Stereo Subversive as the “best album” of 2009.
Most of Jenson’s attention has been focused on her CD release party on March 3rd when friends and industry leaders will gather in Hollywood for a special party to celebrate the CD’s launch, hosted by Bully! Pulpit Records, Nettwerk Music Group, Co-Exist and Risen Magazine. The event will include a special unveiling of the magazine’s cover which features Jenson, by the magazine’s editor Chris Ahrens and publisher Alan Camaisa. She joins past artists featured on the cover including Paul McCartney, Billy Bob Thornton and Hillary Swank. The photos weres shot by famed photographer Bill Zelman.
