Toronto, ON – May 26, 2009 – In 2006 Mark Kupfert and his troupe of Montrealers created and released Hind Hind Legs, a collection of candy-coated pop music with synth-fueled sing-alongs that brought them a caravan of praise. Three years later The Lovely Feathers emerge after many hours spent hidden away at Studio Plateau with producer Dan Legace.

Now Kupfert and company find themselves armed with a new label, a new tour and a new album – Fantasy of the Lot – to be released June 2 on Sparks Music/EMI and on August 18 via Sparks/Tommy Boy in America!

The band embark on a national tour next week starting with CD release celebrations in their home town of Montreal and soon after in Toronto before heading west in July.
