A Soundtrack For A New Zeitgeist, Electric Black’s Debut Album Out Now
Electric Black – “Electric Black” – Mad Apple
New York City’s own Electric Black, the most punk rock country-blues chamber orchestra on earth, drops their debut album today. After two singles and an according music video were released over the past weeks, the full-length album is now available on iTunes and Amazon. Electric Black’s unique sound draws from the sentiments of Howlin’ Wolf and Jimmie Rodgers, and borrows the poetic license of Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Charles Bukowski, and Pablo Neruda. The result is a refined orchestral sound, laid in heavy with blues, country and folk – a dark and magical testimony to the most sinister parts of the human experience. The band will celebrate their record release on June 25th at the Delancey (NYC), partnering with Iranian rockers Hypernova and Ali Eskandarian.
