Breaking the Fourth Wall’s Massive Summer Tour Begins June 28th, 2009: The Mayhem Begins

As a performance artist it is sometimes necessary to have your fictional character communicate directly with real members of an audience by Breaking the Fourth Wall. The band Breaking the Fourth Wall, however, does not simply cross that line between fiction and reality; they have triggered a series of explosives, strategically placed across that line, which has permanently removed the shroud of illusion between stage and audience.

Breaking the Fourth Wall’s intense live set has a hard hitting sound comparable to none. Forming in 2006, Breaking the Fourth Wall has been plenty busy. Not only in that short time have they released three solid albums, but have also spent the last four years touring and painstakingly working at crafting the sound you hear today. Breaking the Fourth Wall has approached the writing process as an experimental form using each member’s eclectic taste in music. The result being a Christian, Experimental, Hardcore Punk sound hailing from the Great White North.

Breaking the Fourth Wall has shared the stage with numerous other acts including but not limited to; Bury Your Dead, Arsis, As Blood Runs Black, Beneath the Massacre, Black Tusk and many more. Now ready to kick off a massive summer tour with over 30 shows slated between now and August, BTFW has poised themselves to spread their sound and the Word. Striving to share the message of Christ in their music and hailing from the city of Montreal where a Christian music scene practically doesn’t exist, BTFW know what it is to be Christian and they are not afraid to be judged or persecuted for it. It is their calling, their mission, and overall goal to provide a positive message to today’s youth in a way that appeals to them, music. Go ahead, accept the extended invitation to break through the fourth wall.
