MOJAVE SUPPORTS CARBONFUND.ORG WITH RELEASE OF NEW ALBUM, ‘CROW’S FUNERAL’

Eco-indie rockers release digital album on Planetwize.com in an effort to reduce carbon footprint, give back to the planet.

Planetwize today announced the release of ‘Crow’s Funeral’ on the Actiontrax music platform, where every album supports a social or environmental project. Mojave, the Vancouver-based alt acoustic duo, has elected to tie their new album to the work of Carbonfund.org, and a portion of proceeds from every album sold on Planetwize will help to reduce the band’s carbon footprint.

Crow’s Funeral is an emotional collection of thoughts, conflicts and triumphs that Mojave has experienced since their first album, Stories. The new tracks are even more raw, honest and unfiltered, comprising a well-crafted and introspective album.

“I spent months trying to find the most environmentally friendly way to produce the CD,” explained Paul, guitar player with Mojave. By releasing the album digitally on Planetwize and supporting Carbonfund.org, Mojave is helping to finance third-party verified renewable energy, efficiency and reforestation projects.
