RODRIGO y GABRIELA ANNOUNCE ADDITIONAL NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES NEW ALBUM, 11:11, IN STORES AND ONLINE SEPTEMBER 8 VIA ATO RECORDS

ATO Records is excited to announce that Rodrigo y Gabriela have just added a number of October dates to their upcoming North American tour. With the new album, 11:11, being released on September 8th, the tour begins in mid-September and now runs through most of October. The band will be performing in notable venues across the United States, including Denver’s The Buell Theatre on Sept. 19th, LA’s Orpheum Theatre on Sept. 25th and Chicago’s Riviera Theater on Oct. 16th. The upcoming tour is destined to be an energetic display of the guitar virtuosos’ famed live show and will feature new songs as well as favorites from their self-titled debut album.

Starting today, Rodrigo y Gabriela are offering the track “Buster Voodoo” for free download. As one of the new album’s more powerfully rhythmic cuts, this track is yet another illustration of the duo’s stunning interplay and masterful guitar-work.

11:11 was recorded in Ixtapa, Mexico and produced by Rodrigo y Gabriela, with John Leckie co-producing one of the tracks. The album was mixed in Wales and London by Colin Richardson, best known for his work with Slipknot and Trivium. Comprising 11 new original compositions, 11:11 is the band’s personal “gracias” to 11 musicians, both past and present, who have inspired them along the way. Alex Skolnick of metal gods Testament guests on the album, as do widely-respected acoustic veterans Strunz & Farah. 11:11 is the long-awaited follow-up to their 2006 self-titled debut that has so far enjoyed worldwide sales in excess of half-a-million albums.
