LULLABYE ARKESTRA KICK OFF THE RELEASE OF THREATS/WORSHIP LP WITH MP3 GIVE-AWAY, PARTNERSHIP WITH INDEPENDENT RECORD STORES THREATS/WORSHIP OUT TODAY ON VICE RECORDS

Husband and wife duo Lullabye Arkestra have spent the better part of the last decade nurturing a loyal following, touring the world, and leaving a trail of sweaty, glassy-eyed converts in their wake. They made their name the old-fashioned way – by interacting directly with fans. So it’s no surprise that the Toronto-based act has marked the release of their new LP, Threats/Worship, by giving away 5 of the albums tracks to the blogs and websites that have been instrumental in spreading the Lullabye Arkestra gospel. Accompanying these free mp3 give-ways are a series of videos capturing the stripped-down ferocity of the band’s live show.

In an era when the act of purchasing music has been reduced to a button click, the band has teamed up with ThinkIndie, the digital storefront for some of the best independent record stores in the country, to make Threats/Worship a tacticle and personal experience. The first of its kind, the band’s partnership with ThinkIndie allows consumers to purchase a limited-edition, alternative packaging of the record through a local record store of their choice.
