STATE RADIO LET IT GO DEBUTS IN TOP 100 OF BILLBOARD 200
Band Announces Let It Go Vinyl Out November 10
Boston-based rock trio and social activists STATE RADIO debut on the Billboard 200 this week at #96 with just under 6,000 copies of third studio album LET IT GO sold. This marks the band’s highest debut on the charts in their career so far. They also landed at #25 Alternative Album, #25 Internet Album and #44 Digital Album.
Next, the band announces they will release a special vinyl edition of Let It Go. The two-disc deluxe, 180 gram vinyl, which is accompanied by a CD of digital tracks from Let It Go, is available at indie retail stores beginning November 7 and everywhere else November 10.
State Radio have become known for their hard-hitting live show and dedicated fan base, playing headline shows to sold-out crowds of thousands from Boston to New York to Chicago to LA. They made their Austin City Limits debut last weekend and will join 311 on tour for two weeks once their current round of headline dates wrap up in November (tour dates below).
Always keeping these fans at the top of their priorities, State Radio released a special digital deluxe version of Let It Go, which includes the full album plus a double disc Live At The Brattle Theatre—a total of 41 tracks for $14.99. Live At The Brattle Theatre not only features live, acoustic State Radio songs and rarities, but also three Dispatch tracks, including “The General.”
While on the road, the social activists continue their pre-show community service projects via their humanitarian organization, CallingAllCrows. Like Rage Against The Machine and System Of A Down before them, State Radio roll up their sleeves as they practice what they preach, whether it’s riding bikes to gigs to support Bikes Not Bombs, hosting food drives in conjunction with Rock For A Remedy, adopting portions of beaches to ensure they are cleaned regularly, or playing shows to raise money for the Learning Center for the Deaf. On this slew of dates, the band and Calling All Crows will team up with local non-profit groups and participate in service like habitat restoration, sustainability tours and teach-ins.
