WXPN, the nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music and a noncommercial radio service of the University of Pennsylvania, today announced that Joshua James will takeover its All About the Music Blog next week. James will guest author the blog, writing about what he is seeing and discovering right now in pop culture Monday through Friday.
“This is a unique opportunity for our readers to connect with XPN artists on a more personal level,” said Bruce Warren, All About the Music Blog Editor and Assistant General Manager for Programming at WXPN. “We’re incredibly excited to have Josh as a guest author on our blog and look forward to sharing his posts with our readers.”
Since entering the music scene in 2003, James has been named one of the “Next 25 Artists You Need to Know” by Paste Magazine and has toured with John Mayer, David Gray, Ani DiFranco and Brett Dennen. He recently released his new album Build Me This which has received acclaim from Paste, Variety and NPR.
This blog takeover is part of a series of takeovers which will be published throughout the months of November and December. Additional participating artists include Pete Yorn, Grant Lee Phillips, Erin McKeown and more.
