THESE ARE POWERS ANNOUNCE NEW WORLD CLASS PEOPLES/ CANDYMAN EP AND TOUR OUT FEBRUARY 23 ON RVNG, TEEN YOGA TOUR TO START MARCH 11th

After undergoing an infectious sound revision with last year’s genre sidestepping full length All Aboard Future, These Are Powers are set to reveal the next step in the evolution of their ever-deepening dancescapes. Composed of three new songs and two remixes, World Class Peoples/Candyman shows the Brooklyn / Chicago trio of Pat Noecker, Anna Barie, and Bill Salas at the height of their respective and collective compositional talents. Incredibly textural in its seemingly endless layers of electronic and acoustic beats, inhuman basslines, serpentine synth squalls, and irresistibly catchy vocal refrains these are postfuture dancefloor anthems that may as well have come from a utopian alien civilization.

Widely known for their visceral and often unpredictable live shows this is a set of songs particularly geared for the live environment. The opportunity will arise soon as the band will be playing a select handful of shows before embarking on the three week Teen Yoga Tour that will see the group spreading the beat across the eastern portion of North America.
