“This long-running Swedish band’s first album in six years is another consistently strong outing of sunny folk-pop, combining bouncy rhythms,
handclaps, castanets, occasional horns and strings, acoustic guitars and catchy pop melodies.”

Sweden’s most dashing indie pop group Acid House Kings has been quite busy having just dropped their first album in six years, Music Sounds Better With You, in addition to revealing their stunning new video for “Would You Say Stop?”

Premiering on Pitchfork.tv the quirky video that features lead vocalist Julia Lannerheim donning a penguin costume is not to be missed! When choosing the second single off Music Sounds Better With You, the trio put the decision in the hands of their dedicated fans enabling voting via their official website to determine the best song. The upbeat and jangly “Would You Say Stop?” won, with the equally addictive “Under Water” coming in a close second.

Coincidentally the band played both songs live on ‘ Nyhetsmorgon’ (Sweden’s largest morning program) Monday, marking Acid House Kings’ first live performance since their U.S. tour in 2006. Check it out below!
