Phenomenal Handclap Band’s Quinn Luke has a new solo project Bing Ji Ling.

Bing Ji Ling (means Ice Cream in Mandarin) dropped Shadow To Shine on March 22nd via Tummy Touch Records. It’s indie retro 70s disco rock and he’s at the forefront of this new style of music. It’s reminiscent of Beck, Earth Wind and Fire, Shuggie Otis and ABBA. It’s playful and danceable, making disco a friendly world again. More details on Bing Ji Ling’s bi-coastal tour below.

“Bing Ji Ling (which is Mandarin for ice cream), is pure Motown sunshine, bumptuously illuminated by a Crayola-hued collection of instrumental riffs that are positively symphonic in scope” – Toronto Star
