With a new, laid-back, perfect-for-summer album under their belts, West Coast folk-rockers Jon and Roy are ready to take their music to the Canadian masses. Following their June 12th release of their fourth album, Let It Go, the duo trekked around western Canada, playing hometown shows and the summer festival circuit around BC and Alberta. With fall quickly approaching, Jon and Roy are ready to hit the road once again, and will be heading east for a seven date tour through BC, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec, kicking off on September 1st (dates listed below).

The folky sound on Let It Go is perfectly complimented by reggae, flamenco, and blues influences, making it hard for listeners to not tap their toes then get up and dance. Whether they’re playing cozy hometown clubs or large outdoor festivals, audiences will find it hard to stay in their seats when the driving acoustic strumming comes in on songs like Vibrant Scene and title track Let It Go.

Their laid-back, melodic and irresistibly catchy sound has led them to gigs with the likes of Finley Quaye, Mother Mother, Damien Jurado, Bahamas and Hannah Georgas, among others. Their reputation has warranted appearances at some of the most established and popular folk festivals in Canada, including Winnipeg, Vancouver, Calgary, and Ottawa’s Bluesfest, and has earned them touring rights with the likes of Buck 65, The Cat Empire, and Xavier Rudd.
