<p>Critically-acclaimed alternative band, VOLUMEN CERO, is back with the release if their long-awaited fourth studio album, I Can See The Brite Spot, which is out today on Tiger One Records/Adrenaline Music Group. The Echo Park-based trio is set to continue its mission to expand music with their unique blend of heavy rock guitar riffs, electronic synths and pulsating drum loops. Specifically, I Can See The Brite Spot is an eclectic collection of 12 songs produced entirely by the band and Brendan Buckley, who is best known for writing and producing for many notable artists, including Shakira, Lauren Hill, Gloria Estefan, Julio Iglesias, Alejandra Guzman, Fulano and many others. The first single, &#8220;El Mar&#8221;, will undoubtedly excite critics and fans alike. Filming for the video will begin in late September/early October.  Be on the lookout for it on your favorite video music channel.</p>
<p>ICSTBS features 8 Spanish and 4 English tracks. The album opens with &#8220;Chinese Connection&#8221; featuring Latina &#8220;It-Girl,&#8221; Ceci Bastida. Other notable featured artists add their flavor into the mix like 2008&#8242;s breakout &#8220;electro-trop-hip-pop&#8221; artist Chana on &#8220;Planetas.&#8221;  The play list then zigzags the listener through a fusion of dance-inducing tunes with thought-provoking themes. </p>

<p>About Volumen Cero:<br />
Volumen Cero is Luis Tamblay (vocals/bass), Marthin Chan (guitar and Keys) and Josh Sonntag (Guitar). Based out of Echo Park, CA, Volumen Cero posses a diverse Latin American background with members hailing from Chile, Peru and Mexico. Representing a new generation of Latinos in the U.S, this bilingual and bicultural trio offers a fresh take on rock &#038; roll. They fluidly transit through both Latin and Anglo worlds. Volumen Cero was born in 1998 out of sub-scenes of Miami. Andromeda was the first album VC released on Grita Records in 1998. </p>

<p>In 2004, the band released Estelar.  The first single from the album, &#8220;Autos,&#8221; spent over 10 weeks in the #1 spot and 20 weeks in the top 3 spots of R&#038;R&#8217;s Latin Rock Chart which led to a Best Latin Rock Album by a Duo or Group in 2005 honor. VC also landed on &#8220;Los Diez Mas Pedidos&#8221; on MTV Latin America.  They also made history when they became one of the first Latin alternative groups ever to be profiled on MTV&#8217;s Advance Warning, which aired on MTV and MTV2. The &#8220;Autos&#8221; video even charted on Billboard for MTV&#8217;s Top 40 Video Playlist.</p>
