Jamie Lidell will be kicking off a brief North American tour at Austin City Limits on September 26th and continuing with dates through October. Lidell has been touring almost nonstop since the April release of Jim and he will be following these dates opening for Elton John in Europe. Jamie will be keeping his full band for all dates – including sax, guitar, drums, and keys. Anyone who has witnessed the band-backed live shows of late can attest to the additional layers they bring to Jamie’s already rowdy and mesmerizing performances. After the recent Lollapalooza set, Pitchfork asked, “Can somebody please make this man hugely famous, like, now?”
