THE SUBMARINES FEATURED ON GOSSIP GIRL

Indie-pop duo The Submarines had “The Wake Up Song” from their new album Honeysuckle Weeks featured on this past Monday’s episode of Gossip Girl. The band, who just a few weeks ago graced the cover of LA Weekly, has been popping up everywhere recently. They currently have the song “Xavia” in the film and on the soundtrack to Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, and the track “You, Me and the Bourgeoisie” is still being used in the newest iPhone 3G commercial. Also, after a successful US run together, Aimee Mann recently invited The Submarines to join her on the European leg of her tour (tour dates below).
