RIHANNA’S “REHAB” MAKES PRIMETIME DEBUT ON MTV TODAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2008 AT 11:30PM
Rihanna continues the meteoric run of her hit album “Good Girl Gone Bad” with the release of a scorching video for her latest single “Rehab,” featuring Justin Timberlake, across multiple MTV Networks platforms on Monday.
Premiere information for “Rehab” includes:
o “Rehab” will have its Prime Time Premiere on MTV on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:30pm ET/PT. Viewers tuning in to MTV throughout the day can get a preview of the video during show credits on the network. The on-air debut of the video comes just one week after MTV featured the single during an episode of “The Hills.”
o In addition to the big MTV premiere, MTV Jams and MTV HITS will feature special 30-second promotion of the Premiere on MTV.
o MTV JAMS, MTV HITS, MTV TR3S, MTV2 and LOGO will spin the video all day long on Monday for viewers.
o The online community will be shown special love on Monday with “Rehab” video features in advance of the MTV premiere. Upon visiting the MTV.com and Logoonline.com websites on Monday evening, visitors will be able to see the video early from the Home Page Marquee. Buzzworthy and NewNowNext, official blog sites for MTV and Logo, will also post the video during the day. The sites will also feature special additional coverage for the video on Rihanna’s music page.
