Toronto-based producer and remixer deadmau5 has been nominated for a GRAMMY in Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical category for his treatment of Dance music producer Morgan Page’s The Longest Road.

deadmau5 began his meteoric rise by turning out original productions and instant hits, gaining notoriety at digital DJ portal Beatport. Tracks like ‘Faxing Berlin’ and ‘Not Exactly’ showcased his distinctly innovative sound, which appealed across the plethora of dance genres.
He continues to deliver quality tunes such as ‘Brazil’, ‘Arguru’, ‘Sometimes Things Get, Whatever’, all of which were released this year on his artist compilation RANDOM ALBUM TITLE (Ultra Records). In addition to his original work, deadmau5 has been tapped to rework the likes of Calvin Harris ‘Merrymaking At My Place’, Marco Denmark & Casey Barnes ‘Tiny Dancer’, Carl Cox ‘I Want You’ and Buru Funk vs. Carbon Community ‘Community Funk’.
For the last 3 months, deadmau5 has been living on the road, performing at 50 dates across the globe. He wears a tailor made giant Mau5head incorporated with a light show via a USB port, which has captivated audiences. In the last year, he has been the honored recipient of the esteemed Canadian Juno Award (“Dance Recording Of The Year”), Beatport’s ‘Producer of the Year’ and placed at #11 on the Top 100 DJ List from DJ Magazine. It seems it’s all just begun for the Mau5.

Los Angeles based producer/remixer Morgan Page continues to build on the momentum following the release of his Nettwerk debut album Elevate. Morgan’s original productions and remixes have seemingly been a fixture on various charts throughout the year including the Billboard Club Chart where he scored two Top 5 singles with ‘The Longest Road’ and ‘Call My Name’ and the Billboard Dance Airplay Chart where ‘The Longest Road’ has resided for over 30 weeks. This year alone, Morgan’s productions have been licensed onto over 20 compilations across the US, UK, Australia, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Turkey. Morgan was recently commissioned to remix Madonna’s latest single, “Miles Away” which debuted (DATE) as well as tracks for The B-52s, Katy Perry, Alanis Morissette, and others.
