Zaki Ibrahim spent 2008 touring the World performing to audiences of all sizes, as well as gracing the stage with many musical influencers including: The Roots, Erykah Badu, Tumi and the Volume and King Britt. 2009 is starting much the same kicking off with a performance in Austin,Texas at Buffalo Billiards on March 21st, at 9:00pm with Amanda Diva and Solange. Then it’s off to South Africa to perform at the Cape Town Jazz Festival on April 3rd and 4th with Mos Def and Robert Glasper and capping off the first half of the year with a US tour through the end of April early May. Zaki’s debut EP Ecelctica (Episodes in Purple) through SonyMusic International Network (SIN) is available on itunes and all DSP’s in the US currently with a physical release coming in April/May to support her touring efforts.
