The legendary Smokey Robinson has unveiled a new video for “Don’t Know Why,” the first single from his new album. ‘Time Flies When You’re Having Fun’ is out August 25 on Robso/ADA and features guest appearances from Joss Stone, Carlos Santana and India.Arie. The album artwork was done by Shepard Fairey’s Studio One.
“Don’t Know Why,” which mixes black-and-white and color sequences, showcases Robinson’s tender interpretation of the song by Jesse Harris; Norah Jones’ version won Grammy® awards for Song of the Year and Record of the Year in 2003. The video was directed by Linda Cevallos-French and filmed at El Dorado Studios in Burbank.
