NORTH AMERICAN SCION A/V CD RELEASE TOUR BEGINS DECEMBER 6th – FEATURING JESSE ROSE, IDIOTPROOF, OLIVER $, RIVA STARR, AND ZOMBIE DISCO SQUAD
Made to Play, the Berlin based club night and record label helmed by DJ/producer Jesse Rose is one of world’s leading house labels, and 2009 is their biggest year yet. Along with Scion, they have announced their Scion CD Sampler V.27 – A Night at Made to Play release, the latest installment in the series featuring label artists Zombie Disco Squad, Riva Starr, Idiotproof, and Oliver $, not to mention Jesse Rose himself. In addition to the CD sampler, this stable of highly in-demand DJ’s are heading on tour this December for a select run of dates throughout the US.
Continuing to blossom as a label, Made to Play is bringing the noise in 2009 with world tours and huge hits all in abundance. Encapsulating the essence of a Made to Play night, Jesse Rose’s coveted residency at the legendary Berlin club Panorama Bar, Scion CD Sampler V.27 – A Night at Made To Play showcases the skills of its artists and presents a snapshot of the production skills of the Made to Play artists. Each of the two tracks from the artists provides a different feel and reflects a different time of night at a Made to Play event. Like a good book the musical programming of a night needs a beginning, middle and an end and this album has been custom made to make cohesive sense in that way.
In its continual effort to show support for the arts, Scion covers all production, licensing and distribution costs for the A/V projects, and all proceeds go directly back to the label and artists.
