Fool’s Gold Holiday Party Returns To NYC!

Fool’s Gold’s annual Holiday Party has become a new New York tradition, the kind of bash where DJ Premier stops by to spin disco records and Drake gets on the mic to wish everyone a happy Channukah (wearing his finest sweater of course). Tis the season!

This year, the FG festivities are going down Tuesday, December 20th at Dream Downtown (The Gallery) in New York City, featuring DJ sets from Texas legend OG Ron C, The Brothers Macklovitch (aka A-Trak and Dave1 of Chromeo), Just Blaze and Nick Catchdubs, and hosted by Danny Brown and ASAP Ferg.

The holiday party closes out an especially big year for the independent label; in 2011 Fool’s Gold celebrated four years of label-dom, the opening of their flagship retail store in Brooklyn, overflowing crowds at their summer Day Off event, product collaborations with Members Only and AIAIAI, and most importantly, releases running the gamut from Danny Brown’s critically acclaimed XXX (named Best Rap Album Of The Year by Spin Magazine) to the Grammy nominated dance phenomenon Duck Sauce.
