Def Jam recording artist, Karina and Girl Scouts have launched the “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE” contest. Girls 13 years or older can submit essays explaining what “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE” means to them. Submissions can explain how they overcame a difficult obstacle in life, how they are working towards making the impossible possible or how they have been inspired by Karina’s music.
Def Jam Recordings artist Karina, whose debut album FIRST LOVE is now set to join RIAA gold-selling artist Lupe Fiasco on the Coca-Cola Teen Concert Tour, one of the most hotly-promoted and visible events in Coke’s annual calendar. The tour, expected to attract 1,500 to 3,000 teens at each 4:00-8:00 VIP show, will hit six cities starting at in Los Angeles. The tour picks up in then Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago and finally New York. At the same time she will participate on The Russ Parr “Russ Bus” Tour, new and emerging artists get a chance to showcase their talents in front of Russ Parr’s vast listening audience. The Russ Parr “Russ Bus” Tour will visit Detroit, Wilmington, Cleveland, Louisville, Indianapolis, Fayetteville and Raleigh.
