RZA PERFORMS AND GUESTS ON THE LATE LATE SHOW TOMORROW / NEW ALBUM OUT THIS WEEK
To celebrate the highly anticipated release of Afro Samurai: Resurrection, The RZA will be appearing on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson [CBS 12:35 ET/PT] both as the lead panel guest and the music guest tomorrow evening on the album’s release date, Tuesday January 27th. LA based future-soul band and collaborators, Stone Mecca, will back RZA up as his live band to perform the “Afro Season II Open Theme” from the soundtrack followed by a transition directly into, “You Can’t Stop Me Now”, off the critically acclaimed RZA/Bobby Digital album, Digi Snacks, out now.
Afro Samurai: Resurrection is the soundtrack to season two of Spike TV’s critically lauded animated television show and DVD featuring the voice of Samuel L Jackson. The soundtrack hits stores just two days after the series premier, which aired last night, January 25th, and will be quickly followed by a broadcast edition, special 2 disc bonus edition, and director’s cut blu-ray edition DVDs. Also available on January 27th is an Afro Samurai video game for PS3 and Xbox 360 which hit gold status based on pre-orders alone. Each includes the exclusive soundtrack musically produced entirely by Wu Tang Clan’s The RZA who has produced a number of albums for the Wu Tang Clan, its affiliates, and other A list artists that have lead to sales in the millions. He has a successful movie career and as appeared in films with Bill Murray (Coffee & Cigarettes), Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe (American Gangster), Angela Bassett (Gospel Hill), Jude Law & Forest Whitaker (Repossession Mambo), Clive Owens (Derailed). RZA’s also created soundtracks for Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, Afro Samurai, the cult-classic Ghostdog: The Way Of The Samurai and the up and coming Judd Apatow / Seth Rogen flick (Funny People). He’s revolutionized the hip-hop world while simultaneously creating an empire upon it.

Veteran New York-based and Wu-Tang Clan affiliated emcees Hell Razah and Shabazz the Disciple have teamed up under the “T.H.U.G. Angelz” moniker to unveil their July 8th debut release “Welcome To Red Hook Houses” on renowned indie Babygrande Records.
Best known for their deeply rooted history with The Wu-Tang Clan, including their membership in the seminal Wu-affiliated Sunz of Man, Razah and Shabazz have since appeared on RZA’s classic Gravediggaz LP while 2007 saw Razah’s solo debut with the critically acclaimed “Renaissance Child.”
Now, assuming the roles of tour guides, Razah and Shabazz commit to shining a light on the Red Hook housing projects that served as a creative breeding ground for them and many other independent emcees, and in so doing, the duo illuminate the significance of Brooklyn’s
famed Red Hook Houses in the development of early/mid nineties’ “golden age” hip-hop.

After a few months of deliberations, Wu-Tang Latino [an Urban Latin record label out of NY/LA] has come up with the hottest idea to hit the music scene. On April 25th, the label will be releasing media cards that will be available to an exclusive audience.
