Casiokids Return to the US For Tour, Culture Collide Festival
Over the summer, Casiokids won 1 million kroner (approx. $160,000) of legendary Norwegian pop band a-ha’s money as part of a competition awarded to four of Norway’s most promising up-and-coming artists to help fund their international careers. The band was also invited to open for one of a-ha’s huge farwell shows in August, and played to over 20,000 people in Bergen.
Because of this performance, the band had to cancel the last four shows on their planned North American tour. They’ve returned to the US this week to make up those dates, including a performance at the Culture Collide festival arranged by Filter Magazine in LA.
Casiokids just released a digital single for “En Vill Hest,” which features the album version of the track, remixes by both diskJokke and Prins Thomas and a music video. After these dates they’ll head to South America for a tour.
