OLIN & THE MOON ANNOUNCED AS ONE OF 10 OF MUSIC’S RISING STARS OF 2011 BY THE DAILY BEAST
BAND SET TO HIT THE ROAD FOR SPRING U.S. TOUR AND SXSW IN MARCH
Olin & The Moon have already been making 2011 their year in the two short months its been in existance. From a sell out crowd opening for Lucero in Los Angeles ealier this month to a January residency at the Echo that got the Los Angeles Times, NYLON, LAist and LA Weekly talking; this is only the beginning.
Being recognized as the only unsigned band to make Music’s Rising Stars Of 2011 as chosen by The Daily Beast, the band are ready to take the buzz they’ve been receiving in Los Angeles on the road in support of their latest release Footsteps. Kicking off the tour on March 2 in Boise, ID, the band will play several dates on the west coast and southwest until wrapping up on March 16th for their official SXSW showcase in Austin.
The band have also had the honor of being asked on the popular CW show One Tree Hill, making a guest appearance that will air very soon as well as recording their take on the show’s theme song, I Don’t Want To Be, that you can listen to here:
