OFF! announce west coast tour dates

OFF! START TOUR IN ATLANTA TONIGHT, ANNOUNCE WEST COAST DATES FOLLOWING COACHELLA

BAND FACING POSSIBLE CHARGES FOR ALLEGED THEFT OF WASTE VEGETABLE OIL FOR THEIR ECO-FRIENDLY TOUR VAN

Following a frenetic weekend that saw them perform six shows in three days (including events for Pitchfork, Spin, Vans, FYF’s Mess With Texas, and more) at SXSW, OFF!, the LA-based quartet of Keith Morris (Black Flag/Circle Jerks), Steven McDonald (Redd Kross), Dimitri Coats (Burning Brides), and Mario Rubalcaba (Earthless/Hot Snakes/Rocket From the Crypt), today announce an additional run of west coast dates immediately following their appearance at the monolithic Coachella Music Festival in April. Spanning a week, the dates will see the band’s first performances in Portland and Seattle, as well as shows in Vancouver and the Bay Area.

The announcement arrives in anticipation of the official tour kickoff show in Atlanta tonight, where the band join west coast hardcore thrashers Trash Talk for a two week trek across the east coast and Midwest. The tumultuous journey to Atlanta, which included the aforementioned stop in Austin, sees the band facing potential criminal charges following an arrest in Arizona for allegedly stealing waste vegetable oil to fuel their eco-friendly tour van, which is rigged to run on vegetable oil. The band are set to stand trial April 6th, immediately following their current run of dates, which culminates in Minneapolis on April 3rd (full dates below). Never before has their fury been more potent and palpable, as the coming performances will no doubt prove.
