Afrobeta Premieres New Album Track, Hits The Road w/ the Identity Festival Next Week!

Debut Album Under The Streets Comes Out August 30

Miami’s funky duo Afrobeta is gearing up for the release of their long-awaited debut full-length, Under The Streets, which comes out on August 30th via Do IT Music Group, but fans of the band can check out a brand-new album track today! Head over to East Village Radio to check out the premiere of “As Long As You Like,” a track that exemplifies their unique use of guitars, synths, and Cuci’s irresistible vocals. Afrobeta will also be guests on Hannah Rad’s East Village Radio show Belly of the Beast tonight, be sure to tune in live!

Next week, Afrobeta embarks on their first nationwide tour in support of their debut- they’re hitting the road with the inaugural Identity Festival tour, which will see them performing at some of the nations’ biggest outdoor amphitheatres. Other big names that will be on the road w/ the traveling festival include Holy Ghost!, Pretty Lights, Rusko, DJ Shadow, The Crystal Method, Hercules and Love Affair, and many, many more- see all of them here, and check out all the tour dates below!

Afrobeta, comprised of lead singer Cuci and producer extraordinaire Smurphio, are arguably the king & queen of Miami’s dance scene, as evidenced by the Miami New Times. Their diverse & unique sound transcends genres- Cuci’s rapid-fire delivery, combined with Smurphio’s funky synths and head-bopping basslines, will keep you moving from start to finish on Under The Streets.
