The Village Voice is thrilled to announce the initial line-up today for its third annual free 4Knots Music Festival, being held on Saturday, June 29 from 1-8pm at South Street Seaport. Kurt Vile & The Violators, The Men, Parquet Courts and Marnie Stern are scheduled to performed, plus more to be announced.
The Village Voice has also announced that the 4Knots Music Festival will once again feature a second outdoor stage. Announced earlier this month, the Official 4Knots Music Festival After Party will take place at The Music Hall of Williamsburg on June 29th, immediately following the festival. The lineup for this show and tickets will be available soon.
The Village Voice’s 4Knots Music Festival continues the Voice’s 13-year history of curating free, live music showcases featuring the most renowned and emerging artists breaking through today’s music scene. Running between every borough of New York City and culminating near the South Street Seaport, the East River runs at a speed of “4 knots”.
Bud Light returns to the 4Knots Music Festival as the presenting sponsor. Additional 2013 sponsors include, Side.Car, Getty Images, Urban Ears, Marshall Headphones, Qdoba, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, A List Event Company and smartwater.
