With The Downtown NYC Festival happening this Friday and Saturday in New York, Downtown Events has released the final schedule for the two-day Lower East Side takeover. Over two days, festival acts like Earl Sweatshirt, Purity Ring, DIIV, Sky Ferreira, Palma Violets, Nguzunguzu, Trash Talk, Autre Ne Veut, Kilo Kish, and over 40 total acts will play a variety of intimate shows at venues like Bowery Ballroom, Mercury Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall, Capitale. Element, and more. The Downtown NYC Festival will also see a number of firsts, including the live debut of Andrew Wyatt’s (of Miike Snow) Descender featuring a chamber orchestra, as well as the first time Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock have performed together in New York as Black Hippy.
