FriendsWithYou feature Santogold in Zune Arts film “Tickle Party”
Acclaimed Miami-based art collective FriendsWithYou bring their love of magic and adventure to Zune Arts with the new film “Tickle Party.” Set to the eccentric sounds of New Wave art rocker Santogold’s “Say Aha”, the film pairs up a couple of “fuzzies” (fluffy white creatures with a penchant for dance) with a hapless monster reduced to crying tear-shaped rubies. A reminder that it’s more rewarding to be kind than cruel, “Tickle Party” features a unique blend of stop motion, puppetry and assorted 3D elements.

FriendsWithYou is an artist collaboration founded by the two Miami-based artists, Sam Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III. Since its conception in 2002, FWY has promoted its message of magic, luck, and friendship through its popular designer toy line, art installations, new-form playgrounds, published works, live performances and various animation, motion pictures, and multimedia projects. From Art Basel in Miami to Pictoplasma in Berlin, FWY has participated in some of the most respected artistic happenings worldwide. The collective has also created works for today’s most prominent brands, including Nike, MTV, Red Bull, Volkswagen and Coca-Cola.
Santogold, aka Santi White, is a Philly born female producer and songwriter who has already received club rotation and airplay in urban Afghanistan and downtown Beirut, and will be bringing her unique sound to the States with her debut LP on April 22nd, released on Downtown Records.
