MySpace Music is proud to announce that R&B crooner Raphael Saadiq will be performing a free show for his MySpace friends at the Hollywood and Highland Center in Hollywood, CA, on Friday, September 19 – a show being powered by AT&T. Showtime for the all-ages show will be at 8 p.m. and admittance will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
After helping form the wildly-successful Oakland-based trio Tony! Toni! Tone! back in the 1980s, Raphael Saadiq has continued to marry the smooth sensuality of R&B with his seductive signature Soul on the albums he’s released since that time period. Always remaining fresh with his updated take on these genres, Saadiq has now released “The Way I See It,” his latest Columbia Records suite that is as much of a throwback as it is a modern and enjoyable body of work further extending R&B and Soul’s respective peripheries.
