Terrace Martin and his highly anticipated street album “Locke High” which is being released today as a free download and hosted by DJ Drama and Snoop Dogg. Guests on the album include DJ Quik, Kurupt, Problem, T-Lee, Uncle Chucc, Snoop Dogg and more.
As you may know, Terrace is Snoop’s production partner working on all of his albums, most notably “Rhythm and Gangsta.” His unique production skills and abilities are most attributed to his beginnings in jazz music where he played saxophone touring with legends Art Farmer, Herbie Hancock and Billy Higgins. It wasn’t until he toured as Diddy’s saxophone player that is he put together the connection of combining jazz beats into the hip hop scene. Since then, he has been on of the West Coasts most in demand producers.
