Everybody Hates Chris, the hit sitcom set in the 80s, puts you, the viewer, into the childhood of Chris Rock, as he attends high school in Brooklyn, NY. Each episode tells a story of a Chris Rock memory from his youth in circa 1986, Brooklyn, New York.

In the latest episode is situated around the premise that the hottest rap group around is having a show; the kicker: after Chris Rock waits in line for three hours, the Fat Boys Concert is sold out! The next day, he manages to get his hands on a couple of tickets only to find out that entry is limited to those 18 years and older. Young Chris Rock persists, as he just has to see the Fat Boys; so begins his journey in search of a fake ID.

Original footage of the Fat Boys is featured in this episode as are numerous Fat Boys references, sound bites and photos. This Episode is available for download on iTunes; all Chris Rock fans and Fat Boys fans should see this episode; it’s well worth the $1.99 download fee.

Chris Rock also supported the Fat Boys when he included Kool Rock-ski on this satire music video:

In fact, in the movie Boomerang, Chris Rock was qouted as saying: ‘First the Fat Boys break up, and now this.’

Chris Rock. in a recent interview said:
“Growing up in Brooklyn, the Fat Boys were like god to me. Three Fat beat boxing gods! When I heard Uncle Louie convinced them to make a comeback, I had to write this episode.”

“When Rock reached out to our manager, Uncle Louie (Louis Gregory) for our participation in this episode, Kool Rock and me were excited to get back to TV. We had a blast working on this production!”

“This episode fell right in line with our Old School Movement and really helps our Old School Revival Tour. We are looking forward to doing more TV stuff this year, including our new reality TV show where the Fat Boys search for a new member; it’s definately entertaining TV.”
