In addition to being added to MTV, the video has been selected for a number of channel features including a MTV2 Unleashed Premier, MTV2 Elite 8 Rotation, MTVU All Day Premier and MTV JAMS All Day Premier garnering the highest placement possible on MTV2.

Shot in High Definition on the streets of LA, the video features 88-Keys and Kanye West dressed in full prosthetic makeup made to appear in their late sixties, out on a night on the town. Utilizing the talents of makeup artist Tony Gardner of Alterian Effects (Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, “Hairspray”, “Shallow Hal”, “Seed of Chucky”, Daft Punk) the video creates an intimate and comedic look at the two real life friends.

“The ‘Stay Up!’ (Viagra) video represents a new wave in the Music Video,” says director Jason Goldwatch. “It is a smash up of music video, reality television, and highbrow conceptual art. By taking some of the world’s biggest stars, who are normally surrounded by security and droves of crazed fans, and hiding their identity, we allow them to interact with the ‘real world’, unrecognized, unhindered, and free to walk alone – almost as if new people.”

88-Keys’ The Death of Adam, executive produced by Kanye West has been heralded as an instant classic, gracing a number of top albums lists, including MySpace’s Top 50 Albums, AllMusic’s Top Hip Hop Albums & About.com’s Top 25 Hip Hop Albums of 2008. In support of the release 88-Keys has also graced the cover of Urb Magazine Issue #156.

Featuring the talents of Kanye West, Shitake Monkey, Phonte of Little Brother, J*DaVeY, Bilal, Redman and KiD CuDi, The Death of Adamprovides a narrative of the life of Adam, the everyman who wrestles with his run-ins with the fairer sex, and the relationship that eventually leads to his demise. “The Death of Adam is heavily conceptual (and exceptional).” 88-Keys reflects. “I think it will remind people of how relationships work for the better or worse. I learned a lot about myself as I am ‘Adam’, you are ‘Adam’. ‘Adam’ is your father, your brother, a best friend or a friend of a friend whom you’ve heard about.”

The “Stay Up! (Viagra)” video will premier on MTV on-air and online Monday, March 16.
The Death of Adam is in stores now.

88-Keys has just wrapped production on his next video for the track “The Friends Zone” ft. Shitake Monkey which will debut in April.
