WU-TANG CLAN MEMBER INSPECTAH DECK BRINGS FORTH HIS TOP GUN, FES TAYLOR FOR DEBUT ALBUM, “FLIGHT 10304”, ON CHAMBERMUSIK RECORDS ON APRIL 7th, 2009.

While only releasing his first retail album, Fes Taylor is no beginner to the world of Hip-Hop music. Formerly called Profes, he made his debut on King Just’s “Mystics of The God”, which sold over 300,000 units worldwide. He was also an original member of the legendary Shaolin Soliders, and performed at the very first Hot 97 “Summer Jam” in New York City. Later on, he dropped a single on Pinnacle Records called “Party On/Decision” which sold over 10,000 units worldwide. He has toured internationally, performed at Freaknik, Jack the Rapper, and everyplace in between, but a solo LP still eluded him until now.

Since the 90’s Fes Taylor has become one of the strongest mixtape CD peddlers in Staten Island history, a tactic which created a buzz on the streets and caught the attention of Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck, who then included him in his own offshoot crew, the Housegang Animalz, which eventually disbanded. But Fes stayed loyal to the lyrical master Deck, who continued to groom him as protégé.

Taylor soon connected with long time friend Mr. Prezident to form the duo Heart Foundation. The duo’s swagger and energy impressed G-Unit affiliate Mazaradi Fox so much that he made the Heart Foundation members of the G-Unit/Dumout family.

Having earned the respect of well-known established artists and fans worldwide, the timing was perfect for Fes to release his first retail solo album. He recently inked a deal with new indie label Chambermusik Records/Koch for the release of Flight 10304 (T-2 Fly). The official debut is co-signed by Inspectah Deck and features the Rebel INS himself, Shyheim, Mr. Prezident, Lot-A-Nerv, T-Bird and many more. Production is handled by Falling Down, Flip, Blastah Beatz, G-Clef da Mad Komposa, Chad Beats, among others.

As fans know, this album has been hailed a classic for months, by Chambermusik C.E.O. G-Clef da Mad Komposa, artist/producer in his own right. Packed with 21 songs, this album is certainly not lightweight, and is chock full of high-energy springtime jams as well as the street sound fans have come to expect from Fes via his mix tape hustle. Lead-off single Ocean Drive is already making a ton of noise on the internet and college radio, having been talked about all over the Hip-Hop blogsites.
