KAY SLAY HOSTS TIYE PHOENIX AT SIRIUS XM
The legendary New York DJ Kay Slay invited Babygrande’s own lyrical queen Tiye Phoenix (along with Eric B. and others) to the Shade 45 booth at Sirius XM’s NY studio to discuss everything from the Kemetic origins of her name to the influence of Nas on the title of her album.
Tiye is well versed and immersed in hip-hop’s rich history, traditions and culture, and you better believe that Kay Slay is down to co-sign a black woman with brains, beauty and a knowledge of hip-hop history!
