GREEN LABEL SOUND RELEASES “I WILL COME BACK” BY BROOKLYN DJ/PRODUCTION DUO, HOLY GHOST!

Available today for free download at greenlabelsound.com

Green Label Sound, a free exclusive singles label, releases its latest track adding to its diverse repertoire. “I Will Come Back,” by Holy Ghost!, is a surging five and a half-minute space journey that features the haunting voices of the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. The single is now available as a free download exclusively at greenlabelsound.com.

Holy Ghost! features electro magicians Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel, the critically-heralded DJ and production duo. Known for their 2008 club hit “Hold On” as well as remixes for Moby, MGMT, Cut Copy and Phoenix, “I Will Come Back” is their first original release in two years. Protégées of DFA Records’ James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem), Millhiser and Frankel bring their melodic, throwback style and love for old-school synthesizers to their infectious new single for Green Label Sound.

“I Will Come Back” and the upcoming video pay homage to pioneering dance group, New Order. The drum fill is a nod to New Order’s hit “Bizarre Love Triangle” and the video will be a remake of the group’s 1983 classic “Confusion.” Getting legendary producer Arthur Baker to reprise his role in the video was Holy Ghost’s! biggest coup. “We were going to have James [Murphy] play the Arthur Baker character,” says Millhiser, “but one night we were out at a bar and we ran into Baker. Alex told him about the video, and James said, ‘I want to play myself.’ We couldn’t really say no!”

Green Label Sound, supported by Mountain Dew, is a music label designed to showcase and empower independent artists. To date, GLS has released tracks and videos by Matt and Kim, The Cool Kids and U-N-I to name a few. Stay tuned in the following months for exclusive tracks from Chromeo, Solid Gold, Amazing Baby and more.
