After months of careful preparation and relentless recording sessions, the Windy City’s Grammy-nominated hip-hop legend will release his long-awaited new album, Category F5 on Tuesday July 14th, 2009 through Get Money Gang Entertainment/EMI Music Label.
Chicago’s own Twista delivers his sixth studio album Category F5 with 15 original songs from the fast-paced sharp wit rapper that hip-hop fans were introduced by way of 1997’s Adrenaline Rush. The upcoming album not only reunites Twista with Toxic and his original Adrenaline Rush collaborator the Legendary Traxster, but also teams him for the first time with such talented producers as the Tastemakers, STREETRUNNER and GoodWill and MGI. Featured guests on the album include R. Kelly, Akon, Busta Rhymes, Gucci Mane & OJ Da Juiceman, Lil Boosie, Do or Die, the late Static Major and Erika Shevon, whose sultry vocals are featured on the lead single ‘Wetter.’
