“Cosmically synthetic, subversively euphoric.”
– NEW YORK TIMES
“After the international release of their debut album, Dystopia, Midnight Juggernauts spent the majority of the year touring the globe, collecting both fans and Mexican Aztec gold… Needless to say it has been a breakthrough and exhausting year for the Melbourne trio.”
“Dystopia, was a euphoric hammering together of Krautrock grooves, psychedelic flights of melodic fancy and post-Justice grindy synth noises. And they’re certainly worth checking out live, providing you don’t have to go into work early the next day. Their literally staggering performance at Lovebox… was one of the highlights of this year’s festival.”
– TIMEOUT LONDON
“Sounding like a fusion of Roxy Music and Kraftwerk… behind their glam sheen, the Melbourne three-piece have been crafting some undeniably catchy tunes… One of the unexpected highlights at this year’s Glastonbury festival.”
– METRO UK
“Midnight Juggernauts manage to achieve a level of sophistication not heard in most of today’s electronic music, and they seem intent on taking us somewhere out of this world with their brand of surreal space disco.”
– 8.5/10 PREFIX MAG
“Multi-tasking in the genre department is not as simple as it may seem – ending up either lackluster or schizophrenic… Midnight Juggernauts has neither symptom.”
– 4/5 URB MAGAZINE
“Imagine Daft Punk taking Bowie to Studio 54 then back to their place to check out their Goblin and John Carpenter collection.”
– THE TIMES UK
“Dystopia bears elements of Krautrock and cosmic disco: imagine Can jamming with Daft Punk.”
– THE GUARDIAN
“‘Into The Galaxy’ soars like a synthesizer symphony, a dance floor throwdown with four on the floor and an eye on the heavens.”
“Unique and sophisticated party anthems”
“Club music that sounds best in open fields — or while double fisting lighters in the air”
– LA TIMES
“Soaring synth melodies, falsetto laden choruses, and un-ironic grandness are utterly infectious”
“Eden now has an edge. Midnight Juggernauts celebrate with a pagan goth-dance in the woods”
