The Golden Filter Announce North American Tour

“Electronica’s next big thing” – Electronica Album of the Month – Mojo – 4/5

New York duo The Golden Filter has announced a North American tour in support of their debut album, Voluspa, out in the US on June 15, and recently released in the UK on Brille Records (The Knife, Operator Please). The band will perform a one-off show at the Mercury Lounge in New York City on Friday, May 14 with support from Warp artist The Hundred In The Hands, with whom they will be touring North America in June.

The band has not been on the road in North America since their national tour with The Presets last year, and this will be their first live shows since a fantastic set of performances at this year’s SXSW and Winter Music Conference. Check out Yours TV’s coverage of the band here.

The band’s latest single “Hide Me” comes with a Peter Bjorn & John’s Hortlax Cobra Remix, a Clock Opera Remix and the band’s own “Nine Worlds” remix, all available on iTunes.
