D-Sisive Signs With The Paquin Entertainment Group Booking Agency
Toronto’s twisted Hip Hop mastermind D-Sisive has signed on with Paquin Entertainment (K’Naan, Tegan & Sara, The Sadies, Serena Ryder, etc.) for bookings representation. Not a stranger to the stage, the Juno Nominated artist has toured Canada and Europe extensively since 2004, and is currently booking dates in support of his critically acclaimed new album Vaudeville.
Julien Paquin comments; “D-Sisive is one of Canada’s finest songwriters and will soon be known as one of Canada’s finest performers. We are thrilled to be involved.”
After last year’s triumphant return to the hip-hop limelight with both his Polaris Prize nominated gem Let The Children Die, and his second classic full length of 2009, the acclaimed Jonestown, one would think the accomplished Toronto MC would be content to rest on his ever-expanding laurels. Not D-Sisive. The enigmatic artist returned last June with the electrifying Vaudeville – an album that seamlessly marries club ready hip hop beats and rhymes with the alternative voices of guests Ron Sexsmith and Jason Shwartzman. Not an easy feat – but one which only a true slight of hand artist like D-Sisive could pull off!
