WHAT: As the first 3D advertiser in Times Square, Honda will host “CR-Z3dNYC” to celebrate the all-new CR-Z sport hybrid–the perfect union of performance and efficiency. This event marks the first time a 3D commercial will air in Times Square on the Clear Channel Spectacolor HD screen. The 3D commercial, “Eclipse,” reveals how opposites in harmony–like sport and hybrid–can come together to create something compelling and powerful.
The Clear Channel Spectacolor HD screen is located on 46th Street between Broadway and 7th Ave. Attendees and passersby will receive special 3D eyewear to view this one-of-a-kind, visually stunning 3D milestone.
The playground will feature:
Exclusive performance by N.E.R.D. at 12:30pm on the Honda Stage located on Broadway between 42nd and 43rd Streets
Interactive CR-Z vehicle displays
Racing simulators for fans to play the highly anticipated Gran Turismo® 5 on PS3 in Stereoscopic 3-D, featuring the CR-Z in-game, from Sony Computer Entertainment America
Maxim models will distribute copies of the first-ever 3D issue, which includes a CR-Z 3D ad
Polite in Public photo booths with 3D backdrops
