Mark Ronson & The Business Intl Announce Shows in NYC and LA Confirmed To Perform On The Late Show With David Letterman This Monday, October 11th
“…11 songs of funk-tinged electro…Ronson is the rare DJ-producer who is as fluent with melodies as he is with beats. He’s a connoisseur with a heart.” – Rolling Stone
“Bona fide pop maverick” – NME
“With this new record, Ronson is suggesting that his style, despite all its influences, is on the verge of becoming singular. He’s crafted a music nerd’s manifesto, sure, but it’s something we can all dance to, and maybe even remember him by. It could end up being the defining pop album of 2010.” – Esquire
Grammy winner Mark Ronson, along with members of The Business Intl, will bring songs from his critically acclaimed new album RECORD COLLECTION to New York audiences for the first time on October 11th at Music Hall of Williamsburg and Webster Hall on October 12th. While in New York, Mark Ronson, along with Q-tip and MNDR, will perform the hit track “Bang Bang Bang” on The Late Show with David Letterman on Monday, October 11th. Mark Ronson & The Business Intl will then take their live show to LA, performing at Club Nokia on October 14th and The Wiltern on October 15th.
By now, half the globe is already familiar with lead single “Bang Bang Bang”, a 3am Cote d’Azur disco beat featuring Q-Tip and MNDR that takes the French nursery rhyme “Alouette” and turns it into a Jean Michel Jarre meets NYC hip-pop sing-along. A smash hit at Ronson’s live shows, as well as on dancefloors, radio playlists and singles charts around the globe, “Bang Bang Bang” brings inimitable style and panache to this new collection of songs.
